For certain trips it can be even faster to take public transport than any other form of travel, and we are delighted to offer our users a seamless way to plan all public transport options right from our app. Laurent Slits, head of Uber Belgium, is enthusiastic about the integration in the Uber app: “Our riders in Brussels need the right options available at their fingertips for every trip. Once selected, they will be able to see the available public transport routes that will take them to their destination, as well as the departure and arrival times in real-time, and receive directions to walk to bus, metro or bus stations. After entering their destination in the app, Uber users will be offered a ‘Public Transport’ route.
